We’re Rod and Buck, the founders of Standard Poodles Australia. Together, we oversee every aspect of our breeding and puppy development program—from genetics and whelping to nutrition, training, grooming, socialisation, and selecting the right homes for our pups.

Our shared passion for the Standard Poodle drives our commitment to responsible, ethical breeding. Affiliated with Dogs Australia (formerly ANKC) and Dogs NSW, we follow best practices in health testing, conformation, and temperament. Each litter is thoughtfully planned with the long-term welfare and quality of the breed in mind.

Our puppies are raised in a home environment with early enrichment, positive handling, carefully selected socialisation and age-appropriate training. We believe the foundation for a confident, well-balanced dog starts from the very beginning. We personally vet every applicant to ensure the right match between puppy and family, because placing a puppy is never about a sale, it’s about a lifelong relationship with your pup and us.
